While your child’s baby teeth will eventually come out and be replaced by permanent adult teeth, they still play an important role in your child’s oral health and development. Primary teeth help facilitate:

We recommend that you begin bringing your child to the dentist as soon as their first tooth erupts (or no later than their first birthday). How to Care For Your Child’s Teeth
Here are a few tips on taking care of your child’s teeth:
- Help your child brush their teeth at least twice a day
- Help your child floss daily
- Bring your child to visit the dentist regularly
- Ask our dentists about preventive care, including sealants and fluoride
- Help your child maintain a nutritious and balanced diet
- Make sure your child wears a protective mouth guard if they play sports
